The HP Z820 F1K15UT Mini Tower Workstation is designed for heavy workloads and expandability. This workstation is powered by dual 12-core Intel Xeon E5-2695v2 CPUs and uses 16GB of 1866MHz DDR3 memory for retrieving recently accessed data. The HP Z820 has a 240GB SSD and a 1TB 7200rpm hard drive for storing data. A SuperMulti DVD burner is also built-in for reading and writing data stored on optical media.
The HP Z820 workstation can accommodate multiple high-speed connections with four USB 3.0 ports, five USB 2.0 ports, and two FireWire ports. The HP Z820's tool-less chassis simplifies swapping and upgrading components. This workstation also features dual 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports for high-speed Internet connectivity and Realtek ALC262 processing for high-resolution audio playback. The HP Z820 comes preloaded with Windows 8 Pro (64 bit), but you do have the option of downgrading to Windows 7 Pro (64-bit) at no additional cost.
