Comments about Avenger A5033 Folding Base Wheeled Studio Stand:
I love this stand, it is great for small areas. the only bad thing is that its base is not wide enough to boom a light out on.

Comments about Avenger A5033 Folding Base Wheeled Studio Stand:
I have an Elinchrom 600 rx and a 175cm rotalux box set up on this stand in my studio. Moving the light around is a breeze. I've added 27lb sand bag to the base for stability. It handles the big light with no problems.

Comments about Avenger A5033 Folding Base Wheeled Studio Stand:
This stand's construction is very solid & sturdy (read: heavy). It makes a great studio stand. It rolls around very easily, quietly, and smoothly. I mounted one of my strobe units with a 22 inch metal reflector (assembled weight of strobe & reflector is about 10lbs.) and the stand handles it with no problem. The clamps hold very well under load and have a good feel. The clamps lock and unlock with ease. I would only recommend sandbags & chocks as my only complaint is that the caster brakes can be a little difficult to engage / disengage.

Comments about Avenger A5033 Folding Base Wheeled Studio Stand:
I ordered four of these stands for my small studio. Right out the box the quality is apparent. The legs come folded up against the body of the stand and are easily lowered. They click into place and voila... a sturdy, smooth-rolling, quiet, easily maneuvered stand that looks up to holding your heaviest equipment. I have an Einstein strobe with a 7' Photoflex octadome on one, and though I did add two sandbags for safety sake, the stand handles the load with ease. Can't find anything to not love about them.

Comments about Avenger A5033 Folding Base Wheeled Studio Stand:
I was a bit wary of this stand, I use C Stands that can take anything, but this stand is great. I have a Bogen boom with a large softbox mounted to it and I can easily wheel it around to any location I need it in.I wanted a little more weight on the base so I used a hanger and Super Clamp to hang a sandbag off of.I haven't used the adjustable leg and don't really see taking this stand out of the studio.[@]

its a great stand for in the studio or for travel because of how it breaks down at the base.

Comments about Avenger A5033 Folding Base Wheeled Studio Stand:
I use this mainly for my key light with an Avenger D600 boom and a 53" Elinchrom Rotalux. It is plenty strong enough and the wheels make moving everything around so much easier. Plus it folds up much shorter than my other C-stands.

Comments about Avenger A5033 Folding Base Wheeled Studio Stand:
I wish all my studio stands were like this. Built like a TANK, buttery smooth operation, confidence inspiring design. It now makes all of my other stands and booms look flimsy and cheap... :( I will be getting at least one more of these, would love to have three total. Oh, and it is relatively portable!!!!!
I am a full time pro with a studio.
