One side of the TTL cable fits directly into the camera's hot shoe to ensure that all of the camera's exposure data is maintained. The other side can be attached to any stand, tripod, or device with a standard 1/4"-20 threaded stud or flash shoe mount, and the shoe has a locking knob to ensure your equipment is secure.

Had to get a new Vello TTL Flash Cord

I HAD to get a new Vello Off-Camera TTL Flash Cord for Canon Cameras (3'). The outer cover on my old Vello cord started to fail after 14 years of use and stuffing into a tight camera bag. Tried to get along using a pair of TTL transceivers instead, but just not as convenient as the Vello TTL Cord for using flash on a camera-attached flash bracket. As far as I am concerned, a flash bracket with ball head and this cord are must-have accessories for flash photography. Improves on the go flash portraiture and provides versatile flash lighting options for macro and other situations.

Works Well - What More Can One Ask?

I Actually Use This With My Fuji Cameras (which Use The Canon Standard) - And It Works Fine. The Cable Is Heavy Duty Enough And Provides Enough Range Of Motion To Maneuver The Normally Shoe Mounted Flash Up To About 18" From The Hot Shoe. The Lock Down Clamps On Both Ends Are Also Substantial (not Always The Case In Gear Like This) - Overall, No Issues.

question

Hi, I would like to know if this flash cord would fit on top of a Wimberley F-1 telephoto bracket.Thank you
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes it would. The bracket side of the cable features a standard 1/4-20 thread size which is the same as the mounting screw on the bracket.
