The STCU100 4-Bay NAS Server Enclosure from Seagate is a network storage solution that offers the ability to collaborate, share, and access files even when on the go. This NAS server enclosure offers four bays each able to hold a SATA hard drive. No hard drives are included. The NAS server features SimplyRAID technology that's built into the NAS OS 4 software. This technology guides you in choosing between JBOD, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, which can offer either performance, capacity, redundancy, or a combination of performance and redundancy. Once configured, connect the NAS server to your network via the two Gigabit LAN ports or to your Windows, Mac, Linux PC via USB 3.0.
