This is a flash shoe with a tilt control. It fits any camera that has a standard flash shoe (not current Minoltas). It also fits any light stand or mount that has a standard 1/4-20" threaded male top.
This is a cold shoe, with no electrical contacts. A sync cord, or slave is needed to fire a flash mounted to this item.

Comments about Kaiser Adjustable Flash Shoe:
Bought this to use with my MT24ex so that the flash heads would hit the target from different angles. Works great.

I use it with my MT-24EX flash. I think this is better than adjusting the ratios for my macrophotography work.

Comments about Kaiser Adjustable Flash Shoe:
Does the very specific job I want it for--to elevate the flash heads of the Canon Macro Twin Lite MT-24EX, to get a bit more separation of the flash from the lens axis. (This is helpful when shooting larger subjects, such as butterflies, with the 100mm macro, for instance.) The tilt feature is handy, allowing fine adjustments of the flash head angle.
I will have to investigate the other comments here about means to make the flash shoe lock onto the MT-24EX a bit better--it stays on well enough by friction, though a bit more positive lock would be useful.

Comments about Kaiser Adjustable Flash Shoe:
I use 2 of these to increase the angles of my Macro Twin Lite. They also make room for homemade diffusers. They are made of plastic, yet seem sturdy enough.

Comments about Kaiser Adjustable Flash Shoe:
I use this flash shoe as a riser to lift the one flash a bit higher than the other on my Macro twin flash MT 24 EX. This enables me to get fewer hot spots on the subjects because the two flashes are now hitting the subject at two different angles. The flash shoe is well built and locks solidly with a simple twist of the knob. The bottom of the shoe can be attached to a 1/4 20" threaded light stand or small ball head to allow for more manuverability of the flash head that is attached. I was able to easily modify the bottom of the shoe with a dremel tool so that it would lock into the MT 24 EX flash head.

only reason i give this 4 stars and not 5 is because its made of plastic completely other than that it works great for my application... to elevate an flash head on my mt24 ex flash system

Well made (it's black not blue). Seems solid and sturdy and the tilt is a nice extra feature.

Comments about Kaiser Adjustable Flash Shoe:
It may not matter, but I like that it is all plastic so metal will not touch the contacts on my flash unit. Being adjustable is a plus also!
