Similar to the width of a standard DVD jewel case and only 2.2" tall, the metallic gray VivoPC VM62N-G050R from ASUS features an Intel Core i5-4210U processor and 8GB of RAM to offer you the same performance of a typical desktop computer in a mini desktop computer case. This mini PC is preloaded with Windows 8.1 on a 1TB hard drive that still provides ample digital capacity for storing your files, videos, and more. For upgradeability, it supports up to 16GB of RAM and can accommodate up to two 2.5" SSDs or hard drives.
This mini PC is outfitted with NVIDIA GeForce 820M Optimus Graphics for high-quality visual rendering and can deliver 4K resolutions through its HDMI or DisplayPort. In addition, it supports two displays that extend your on-screen workspace. To save desk space, ASUS provides a VESA mounting kit that lets you attach the VivoPC to the back of a VESA compatible monitor.
With four USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, the ASUS VivoPC connects to printers, scanners, and storage drives to offer you more flexibility and features. However, an external card reader may not be required since the mini PC reads and writes to SD, SDHC, SDXC, and MMC. For accessing the network, it is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port and 802.11ac wireless. Furthermore, you can listen to music with the integrated 2W speakers or wirelessly pair the VivoPC with external speakers via Bluetooth 4.0.
