The white INSTEON 2663-492 On/Off Outlet is designed for use in INSTEON home automation systems. This outlet has dual independently controlled, three-prong, tamper-resistant sockets for connecting appliances and lamps up to 15A. When paired with the sold separately INSTEON Hub, you can enjoy remote wireless control from a smartphone or tablet. You can also use your smart devices to conveniently create schedules, receive alerts and configure scenes.

With control over both outlets, you no longer need two INSTEON devices to control two lamps or appliances. Both the upper and lower outlet can be independently and remotely controlled.
