The D-Tap to L-Series Dummy Battery Power Converter Cable from IndiPRO Tools allows you to power L-Series compatible devices from a D-Tap power source. The cable regulates the 12-18V input voltage range of D-Tap sources to deliver a 7.2V output to your device via the dummy battery. The cable runs 24" long.

These fail...had two of them do so. Replaced them with the Kondor Blue ones and don't have that problem anymore.
The dummy battery is way to tight (in multiple different devices). It requires a screwdriver to pry loose.
