The center frame is made of aluminum and offers one 1/4"-20 threaded hole on top and one on the bottom. The Sony NP-FW50 dummy battery is on a 20" cable, so you get the robustness and length to mount the system on the back of your rig for counterbalance if you'd like. Only a single battery is required to be used at a time, so you can hot swap batteries. An LED indicator remains lit while power is provided.
