Looks good, feels good, tastes good, real good!
Okay wait, enough quoting Full Metal Jacket.
This adaptor may be far more expensive than the sony, but it is a smooth operator. Perfectly locks ENG cameras to a tripod plate, numerous underside mounting points, has a nice smooth finish, and does the job.

Well built...camera locks in tight. Also works with my Sony cameras. 4 Stars due to cost. Cost is nearly 3x that of a Sony plate which fits this camera too.

It was quite a suprise to find out that the TM700 is fully compatible with our Sony PVW-537P. Looks like Sony did set a standard there. :-)
