Besfile B-9057 Reviews
Disappointing quality and gaps in protection
Pros: Offers a large and wide size capacity for storage. Cons: Poor seal/warped plastic: When snapped shut, the plastic is warped and fails to create a solid seal. There are visible gaps where you can look straight through and see inside the binder, leaving contents vulnerable to dust, bugs, and moisture. Inaccurate product representation (Rings): The product pictures show round circular rings, but it arrived with D-rings instead. Pindging sleeves: Because of the D-rings, the binder pinches and catches the sleeves every time you close it. Flimsy mechanism: The rings rely on pulling them apart manually rather than having push-down tabs at the top and bottom. The metal feels extremely flimsy, making it feel like it's going to snap with every use. Flimsy outer shell: The plastic casing is very thin and malleable; pressing lightly on the top causes it to cave in easily. Overall Review: I purchased this binder to protect my paper and delicate items due to its large size. Unfortunately, it fails at basic protection. The plastic casing is warped when closed, leaving noticeable gaps that completely defeat the purpose of keeping out dust and insects. Combined with the thin, cave-in-prone plastic shell and flimsy ring mechanism that pinches sleeves, this product falls far short of archival quality. I would not recommend it.
Absolutely disintegrated
Took it out of the box, filled it up with my negatives, closed it, and noticed the spine was cracking badly. When I pressed down on it, it cracked completely in half.
