Mamiya 7 II Camera Body
Lens not included

Mamiya's unique 6x7 format rangefinder camera, the Mamiya 7 II, is now even more versatile. This camera is the only 6x7cm rangefinder system which features either interchangeable lenses or a light meter.

With the increased demand from pros and advanced 35mm shooters, the Mamiya 7 II features an improved rangefinder, simplified exposure compensation, improved ergonomics and the option of a professional all black finish.

The Mamiya 7 II has high visibility frame lines in the focusing system so that the bright frame appears clearly in the rangefinder, even in the case of intense ambient light. Three strap lugs now make the camera easy to carry in either vertical and horizontal positions. The location of the cable release socket has been moved to the more accessible bottom-right side of the body. Like its predecessor, it is a "quick on the draw" camera that handles with 35mm ease.

Comments about Mamiya 7 II Camera Body:

I've been a user of the Mamiya 7 camera since 1999. At that time, I figured it would be the camera I used forever. I continue to think it will be. I'm primarily a street, cityscape/landscape shooter.

I needed the Mamiya 7II as a alternate primary camera to the eleven year old Mamiya 7 that I use, but has not had a CLA in years. I continue to be amazed at the image quality that is achievable with 2 1/4 even though I've been shooting for quite some time.

Hand-holding of exposures at 1/15 is truly a wonder so low-light photography is workable with minimal action/movement

Obtaining beautiful results with enlargements of 20 inches and higher.

I found that there will probably never be a camera that is "perfect" for me. The Mamiya 7 cameras have come the closest to that end. I've learned to work with the limits that are inherent with it and build on the foundation of what it does best.

A wonderful medium format rangefinder that is simple to use. However, If you're coming from 35m you'll wish it had faster shutter speeds and faster lenses.
