This frosted, heat resistant glass dome protects the flashtube and modeling light from damage during set up or transport of the Profoto flash head. It actually cools the color temperature of the light output by 300°K. It also slightly softens the light output from the head. The dome is compatible with ProHead, Pro-B, Acute/D4 and AcuteB heads and can handle 250W modeling lamps max.
If this dome is not being ordered as a replacement, a set of locking springs (504-336) must also be ordered.
