Comments about Fujifilm Neopan-400 135-36 Professional Black & White Print Film:
Do not be fooled by the inexpensive nature of this film. It delivers high quality results just the same as the premium films on the market. Kodak HC-110 @ Dil. E provides wonderful results with enhanced shadow detail at the box rated speed.

Comments about Fujifilm Neopan-400 135-36 Professional Black & White Print Film:
I really don't like fast films like this because of grain, but this film is great, grain isn't that bad, its nice and barely noticable compared to other 400 speed films I would buy this again

Comments about Fujifilm Neopan-400 135-36 Professional Black & White Print Film:
This film is definitely good quality for its price. It's durable, easy to load, and can handle a surprising amount of abuse and tension. The Fuji Neopan blew away a competitor's ISO400 film I used in the same camera only a week before switching brands. All of the images seem somehow of higher quality and there appear to be more depths to the gray areas even when it was used as the same exposure and aperture setting as the other film. I'm not a photography expert, so perhaps I am at fault, but so far I prefer this film over the others I have used and all of my images look crisper when enlarged. Also, this film hasn't scratched in any way nor do any accidental finger-touches show up, something that the competitor's film cannot say. This would be a great beginner's film because of how forgiving it is.

great results in xtol. still experimenting with it in d-76. looks like a solid film but not sure if it will replace tri-x for me. it's really easy to use, durable, scans well. no complaints.

Super contrasty film when pushed that has dark blacks and clean whites. Not your TMAX kind of film.

Comments about Fujifilm Neopan-400 135-36 Professional Black & White Print Film:
I ordered this film to use for my photography class and didn't really know what to expect. After using the film and developing it, I am really happy with how my photos turned out.The tonal range was great and I was able to make prints which turned out better than I expected. I would definitely recommend this film especially for nature photos. Although I used it to take some portraits, there is still a slight visible grain, so if you don't like grainy photos like I do, I would recommend choosing a film with a lower ISO.

Comments about Fujifilm Neopan-400 135-36 Professional Black & White Print Film:
I use this product for hand held shooting on the street and with strobes in the studio. Using 510-pyro to develop the images gives a grain that you would think would come from a slower film. I do not want to see this film discontinued by fuji, like many other films I have used in the past.

Comments about Fujifilm Neopan-400 135-36 Professional Black & White Print Film:
I use this to shoot almost exclusively with my old Rebel 3000. I use digital SLR's for my pro/semi-pro life but my choice to a grab-it-and-go camera is my rebel 3000 and a few rolls of this film. Great stuff! I love the tones and contrast. It prints well and reproduces great in a lab or at home.

Comments about Fujifilm Neopan-400 135-36 Professional Black & White Print Film:
i wanted to buy some of the 1600 fuji, as i wanted a flexible fast film for the 35, and had been seeing/reading/hearing how amazing it was, apparently its now discontinued, LAME!! so i got some 400 instead, shot some of this in the past, processed in extol for some nice grain action, can;t remember much more other than thinking the price was right

Comments about Fujifilm Neopan-400 135-36 Professional Black & White Print Film:
Good experiences pushing this film. A bit sharper and greater tonal range than competing b&w ISO 400 films. I've personally had better results with portraits and architecture than landscapes or street scenes, but YMMV. It took me a while longer to figure out this film's "niche" within my bag of photo tricks and tools, but after you've played around with it and figured out what you like about it, it's wonderful!

Comments about Fujifilm Neopan-400 135-36 Professional Black & White Print Film:
First of all, let me just say I love these film! Great for around, especially my passion for street photography! you get great texture and right amount of grain to give it a special film "feel" that makes the picture stand out from digital. I know you can shoot with digital and convert them to B&W with one click and don't get me wrong I do that myself sometimes too, but digital files even the ones produced by the most expensive digital slr will not match prints that came from a Leica m4, and m6 with these film. I love my M9 but there are times I rather have the m6 or m7 in my hand. At the current price, I'd stock up on these before Fuji stops making them. Give it a try and you will be happy with the results.

As a beginner photography student my budget is tight and this film doesn't break the bank. I have used the color Fujifilm before and now I see the same quality is also in this Professional Black and White print film.

I used this film for my introduction photography class and it gave me pretty decent photos. The quality is great, especially for the price you're paying for the film. I'd recommend this for beginners or anyone looking to buy cheap black and white film that is still good quality.

I don't usually shoot b/w but I must admit this was alot of fun. I went with this film based on comments made by other users saying it was easy to work with. I took some wedding pictures and after developing the film I was amazed. They have a very professional look to them even though I'm not. Very good for the price. Thanks B&H
