The Altman Ground Cyc is a multi-lamp, compartmented tungsten-halogen fixture designed to provide an even wash of light on cycloramas from a ground row position. The Ground Cycs are available in one, through twelve bulb configurations with single to twelve circuit wiring. Up to two circuits may be used for each section.
Bulbs are on nine inch centers. Typically, each compartment provides an asymmetrical distribution with a 50° beam angle 70° field angle horizontally and a 65° beam angle 83° field angle vertically.
This is a 1 section 300, 500, 750, or 1000 watt fixture, depending upon the optional bulb chosen for use.
With a 1000 watt bulb, each section provides a beam of 20 footcandles 26 vertical feet and 30 horizontal feet in diameter from 20 feet away.
