The Crown CM-700MP is a matched pair of CM-700 cardioid condenser microphones. The pair are matched in sensitivity and frequency response within 1.5dB. While the CM-700 is designed for vocal, general instrument recording and sound reinforcement, the matched pair is an excellent choice for stereo miking of concerts, ambiance, percussion, piano etc. The CM-700 features a very smooth transparent sonic quality as a result of it's wide frequency response. In addition an ultralight diaphragm, humbucking transformer, polycarbonate capacitors and a gold-plated 3 pin connector assure maximum gain and very low noise floor on output. The CM-700's operate on 48V phantom power and the cardioid pattern is effective in eliminating off-axis room ambiance, mechanical, monitor and instrument signal causing noise or feedback.

Cardioid Pattern
