Gepe Glassless Slide Mounts - Besides the standard format slide mounts, Gepe, to a great extent, accommodates special needs. For example - slide mounts for the Minox miniature format, half frame, APS or the Hasselblad Xpan camera are available.
The special format slide mounts are mainly glass mounts, but there are also a few glassless models. These mounts are made for specific and unique camera formats, special purpose use and preferences such as special effects in slide shows.
- Slide is protected against pollution, dust, fingerprints and scratches
- The air exchange system enables the slide to breathe which helps to eliminate bacterium and Newton rings
- The mount prevents penetration of dust
- The slide is safely held in place with the clips of the metal-mask
- Gepe slide mounts are available in more than 80 different sizes and varieties

I have used the scanner for about one week and have had no problems. Installation was simple and the instruction manual was east to understand. I have had only a few slides get stuck, but this may have been because they were not properly set in the tray.

OK, I know. Real slides are near dinosaurs. But I have a huge, catalogued collection (>50K) and about 1000 of those need to be mounted. Gepe mounts are durable, reliable and economical.

The plastic used is strong compared to other plastics used for mounts by other manufacturers. THe mounts were easy to assemble around the film. The assembly when done is a tad bulky. Only about 24 slides fit in a 36 slide box.

I use the Gepe Glassless Slide Mounts for my art work. I am a weaver and "frame" my mini weavings to make broches. My work first appeared in 1991 on the cover of Weaver"s Magazine, Issue 14. I continue to use the Gepe Mounts. They are the only mounts strong enough to frame my weaving and form a tight fit when glued closed.
