With the attached focus assiter you go from minimum distance to infinity in less than ninety degrees of rotation. Apertures are selected with the click-stop diaphragm.
A standard L-mount is used for this lens, making it compatible with Voigtlander Bessa R & L cameras as well as classic cameras from Leica and Canon with the venerable 39mm screwmount design. If you desire to use this lens with Leica M, Voigtlander Bessa T or Konica Hexar RF cameras, use the adapter ring (catalog number 45BD210A). This lens retains rangefinder coupling with all the combinations, and when used with Leica's 0.58x and 0.72x M-series cameras as well as the Konica Hexar RF it will trigger the appropriate viewfinder window.
