Comments about Manfrotto 635 Quick Action Super Clamp:
The action is not as quick as I expected, but that wasn't why I bought it. I just needed a second super clamp. The new handle allows for more versatility in its placement/orientation.

Comments about Manfrotto 635 Quick Action Super Clamp:
This feels really strong. I would prefer to compromise a tad on strength for it to be a slightly smaller profile. It's quite bulky. I wish they just had done completely away with all plastic, but the critical components area all metal. My one big gripe is that there should be at least one screw hole for the larger thread. It has 4 of the smaller threads.

I like the speedy clamping and release button but not sure it is a huge improvement over the tried and true standard clamp. Manfrotto stuff always is solid and reliable.

Comments about Manfrotto 635 Quick Action Super Clamp:
I specifically bought this to use on my Manfrotto tripod as a mount for my ball head to get my camera low to the subjects I wanted to photograph. It works great! I use it all the time for photographing flowers and now would be lost without it.
