The ball-bearing mounted crosspiece and beam manifest great fluidity of movement due to the counterweight system built into the interior of the shaft. To accommodate the need to photograph items larger than the 27.5 x 43.3" (70 x 110 cm) baseboard (which accepts COMBITUBE fittings), cameras can be mounted on both sides of the beam.
