The Rycote Mini Windjammer provides optimum wind diffusion for smaller microphones. Like the standard Windjammer, the Mini Windjammer provides 10 - 12dB extra protection over standard windscreens. This Windjammer accommodates the microphone on the Sony DSR-PD150 and PD170.

I have a Sony HVR-HD1000U camera and had a real hard time finding a windjammer for the factory mic that came with it. This is about as close as I could find that would fit, easy to install and definitely cuts down on wind noise.

I am very dissapointed. This product did not fit my sony PD150 microphone, it was so loose and big that I had to make many modifications to make it fit. I thought it was a mistake, perhaps I was shipped something else by mistake, but in the box it specifies that its for "Sony PD150 Models". Very bad! all the pros goes down with this situation.
