My recent project required using two shotgun microphones on one person. Rather than using two boom poles and two stands, or taping the mics together, I opted for this more streamlined, elegant solution. And it worked quite well. It's pretty basic and some of the knobs feel a little flimsy, but it does the job nicely and offered a perfect solution.

I like this one. I wish the main pivot was in the vertical plane rather than the horizontal. But, it's plenty flexible & im still finding more uses for it. I get better use out of my K&N.

Will this fit on a standard light stand with a round tip? It looks like the base is square.
Yes this will fit on to a standard microphone stand. The stereo microphone bar has round female threads that will fit on any standard threaded microphone stand.
