This is the Matthews RoadRags II Kit. Matthews RoadRags are a portable lighting modification system that helps you to quickly and easily duplicate studio lighting effects on location, using your portable lights. The elastic corded frames easily fold for storing and transporting. A simple "flick of the wrist" is all that's required to quickly open the frame making it ready to use.

By using the different materials, you are able to quickly create contrasts, different light ratios, diffusion or block the light. The RoadRags Kit fits easily into most lighting kits. Additional fabrics are available separately.

If you need a smaller size, order the 18 x 24" RoadRags Kit: Click Here.

Single and double scrim diminish the light.
The flag acts as gobo, to totally block light.
The artificial silk softens and diminishes the light.
Kit Weight 4 lbs (1.8 kg)

Innovative product that enables easy setup of trace frame, nets or cutters without all the baggage. Simply clamp the frame to your existing stand and attach the required trace or net in front of the light source. Brilliant!

i am happy with the concept and build quality, the bag could be done better-- but-- and I am at fault for not reading close -- it's disappointing that for this fee you only get one of each fabric-- so you can't have two flags up at one time. I guess I need to order more for this kit to make it complete, which is a drag.

              THE BEST

Comments about Matthews RoadRags II Kit - 24x36" (45.7x91cm):

As a traveling commercial photographer, I need reliable equipment that is light weight and compact. The Matthews Roadrags Kit fits these needs. The frames are one piece aluminum shock-cord construction. Folded they are apx. 24" long. The case is apx. 10x29" and fits into tripod/lightstand bags. The flags setup and tear-down quickly and are better quality than other brands of portable flags that I have owned. I recommend you pair this kit with the Matthews Minigrip Mounting Kit.
