Leica Lens Cleaning Cloth Reviews
Good lens cleaning cloth

Not much to say. It’s a good lens cleaning cloth. I used it on a couple lenses and filters after receiving it, and it works as expected. It’s maybe a little stiffer than some other lens clothes I’ve used, but a bad thing. I also appreciate that it’s white so I can more easily see when it’s dirty. Overall I recommend.

I've tried Zeiss wipes and some other brands, but they never seem to pick up greasy streaks on lenses or camera screens, and they're either way too big or too small. This cleaning cloth is perfect, the best size and picks up everything when cleaning. Only cleaning cloth I'll buy now.

Is there a liquid that Leica recommends for stubborn smudges?
Leica has refrained from any official recommendations, but we use non-abrasive Kimwipes 4.5 x 8.5" (280 Count), B&H # KIKW4.58.5, the ZEISS Lens Care Kit B&H # ZELCK2, and Purosol Optical Cleaner - 4 oz (B&H # PUOC4) applied directly to the Leica Lens Cleaning Cloth (8 x 8"), BH # LELCC.

question
Is there a specific way to clean this cloth? Thanks.
The best way to clean lens cloths is to wash in warm water with a drop of baby shampoo, and rinse cold.
