Remote Audio BDS-V2 Battery Distribution System v2 Single Battery Distibution System
The Remote Audio BDSV2 battery distribution system is an effective device for distributing power to field recording devices, cameras, mixers, and monitoring devices via a single source such as an Anton Bauer "Brick" or NP-1 battery. The BDS features 1 power input, 5 switchable outputs and 1 non-switchable output for a total of 6 outputs. All connections lock securely in place and a recessed master switch and power LED indicator are located on the side.
An internal BDSV2 6-amp auto-resetting circuit breaker prevents overload and possible damage to connected devices. Output 1 is factory set to "un-switched" status. Output 1 distributes power to the connected device regardless of the master switch's position. This operation can be reversed with moving an internal jumper (refer to the manual). Various power cables are available for complete compatibility with various batteries and field devices. An attached belt clip and small rugged enclosure make it both durable and convenient when using in studios or on location.
- Single Battery Operation
- The BDS eliminates the time consuming operation of installing and testing multiple batteries. The unit effectively distributes power to 6 devices via a single battery such as an NP-1.
- Unswitched Output
- Output 1 is factory set for "unswitched" operation allowing power to flow via the output regardless of the master switch's position.
- Auto Reset Circuit Breaker
- The BDS features an automatic reset circuit breaker, protecting the connected devices against overload.
