Useful for pedals with out cumbersome feet

I have bought three of these. One had the plastic tab that locks the shelf in place break off on day one. Overall I like it but I think I should have gotten some of my shelves without the velcro and used tie downs through drilled holes. Probably a better system as many pedals have feet and don't velcro in easily.

Perfect for using the NI Maschine. Easy to use...slide it out when needed, push it out the way when need extra space.

What is the useable height from the tray to the ...

What is the useable height from the tray to the top of the draw when closed. Can I fit a device that is 2.75" and will it close?

The SKB-VS1 Shelf is 2RU. Each Rack unit is 1.75" which would be about 3.5 inches of height. Exterior Length 19 in 48.26 cm Exterior Width 16.75 in 42.55 cm Exterior Height 3.5 in 8.89 cm

Does this shelf fits in a standard rack mount Gator case? (Another rack mount company). Thanks

This shelf should work in any standard audio rack. It does require 2 rack U for mounting. If your rack doesn't use standard hole spacing then it is possible that you'll have to move it up/down until you find a set of holes that fit, or if they are really oddly spaced it might not fit at all. But Gator should be very standard, assuming it is relatively new.
