DP100 MatchMaker from ATI Audio is designed to interface digital consumer playback units invisibly with absolutely no reduction of audio performance. Equally at home on a newsroom desk, the unit can be used to patch ENG cassette recorders into a system for dubbing, or to hook up compact disc players into a studio environment.
The DP100 matches all levels and impedances between unbalanced phono jacks and balanced 600/150Ω systems. Equally important, it allows complete output ground isolation of consumer line operated equipment and avoids creating RF and hum inducing ground loops back through the power system. Only a true transformer coupled output can provide the required isolation to do the job.
