The PSC WindBoss is a versatile windscreen system designed for use with ENG / EFP broadcast worthy microphones. The WindBoss system includes an inner frame made of aircraft aluminum and weather resistant silicone o-rings that provide adequate shock mounting. The frame features a 3/8" threaded fitting at the base to accommodate boom poles or hand grips.
A three section zeppelin, made up of a cylindrical center and two removable end caps, provide the first layer of wind protection and cradle the microphone and frame. The zeppelin is made of an open cell, polyurethane foam and the removable end caps provide easy access to the microphone. Lastly, a fur wind muff is draped over the entire zeppelin. This WindBoss is designed to fit microphones measuring 16" long and 4" diameter (41cm x 10cm).
