Terk's FM+ FM Stereo Antenna is a stylish improvement over conventional FM antennas. When placed vertically, FM+ is an omni-directional antenna. Place it on its side and it becomes directional, making stations in certain locations easier to receive. Trek makes connection easy with a slip-on 75-ohm plug. A screw-type adapter and a 75- to 300-ohm transformer are included so you can connect this antenna to virtually any FM radio.

Comments about Terk Technologies FM+ FM Stereo Antenna:
I have this unit connected to my living room stereo. The Terk replaces the wire antenna that came with the receiver. There was one station in particular I wanted to get which is about 80km from here and the wire antenna brought it in fuzzily. The Terk works just fine. I had to play around with the placement a bit at first. Putting it up high was not the answer, surprisingly. I ended up placing it under the table the receiver sits on, so it's completely out of sight, but works there like a charm. For the price, it's a definite improvement over the standard wire antenna which has to be strung up somewhere

Comments about Terk Technologies FM+ FM Stereo Antenna:
I live in the country and get few stations with the flimsy antenna that came with my receiver. I read a few reviews and this ultra affordable antenna by Terk sounded good, and it was. B&H as always, provided the excellent service and it made it here in 2 days. Although I no longer live in NYC I'm thrilled I can still shop B&H. Nothing compares.

Comments about Terk Technologies FM+ FM Stereo Antenna:
This was inexpensive, and therefore not worth shipping back for a refund. It might work for some FM tuners but it definitely does not work for "most" as the description implied. It absolutely will not work unless your radio has either a 70 ohm antenna input or a two-screw 300 ohm connection. I had six inexpensive FM radios in the house (clock radios, stereo combos). All of them had single wire antennas or used the power cord as a single wire antenna. None could use this.

A very good passive FM antenna, actually the second one I have in use right now. Excellent value.

Comments about Terk Technologies FM+ FM Stereo Antenna:
We were told this antenna would never work on our stereo because we are surrounded by mountains, however to our 'happy' surprise, it works just fine, we are happy to pick up all five of the stations we listen to and more. [...]Awesome antenna for such a reasonable price!!! Easy to hook up and then it works...what else is there to say?

Comments about Terk Technologies FM+ FM Stereo Antenna:
I'm sure that every situation is different when it comes to FM reception, but this antenna did not work any better for me than the wire that came with with stereo. It might work in your situation.

Does about the same as a regular FM cord antenna but a bit more stylish.
