Lowel 2 Leaf Barndoor Set for Pro and i-Light
The Lowel 2 Leaf Barndoor Set for the Pro and i-Lights consists of a Barndoor Frame with two removable, non-expandable clip-on Leaves (iP-24). The frame accepts swing-in accessories and additional leaves, and rotates 360°.
Barndoors narrow the beam spread of a light fixture. They help create a 3-dimensional look to a lighting scheme by placing light in a specific area, or by keeping it away. The more leaves a barndoor set has, or the longer the leaves the more precisely the beam can be controlled.

Cheap light modifier for Lowel iLight. It attaches easily and holds securely. You can add two more leafs (or a filter holder etc.) at a later time. When closed, it provides some extra protection for the light's Fresnel lens. I don't know why another reviewers wrote that it doesn't really hold and wonder if Lowel has improved the product over time.

Nice to ad these to light package. I used doors to minimize light indoors for a video shoot. Nice job. The focus knob helps much as well.

The knob for tightening the barndoor frame to the light does not work. It's not a screw to tight knob, it's a push and hold knob. The problem is that it does not really hold. Just poor design of the knob. Now the frame rotates on the light freely. I did not bother to return it for an exchange... postage too high considering the cost of the set.
