This is just the tripod only, and does not come with a head.
The Gibraltar tripod is best suited to larger 4.0" refractors such as the Tele Vue-NP101. Thick wood legs soak up vibration and enhance high powered viewing. With a brass altitude bearing and an aluminum & teflon-coated azimuth bearing, the Gibraltar tripod adjusts from approximately 3-5' (0.9-1.5 m). Great with the Tele Vue Air Chair.
