M-Audio KEYSTATION 88ES - 88-Key Semi-Weighted USB MIDI Controller Keyboard
The M-Audio KEYSTATION 88ES is an 88-key USB/MIDI Controller, with a semi-weighted action, velocity-sensitive keyboard, continuing that company's tradition as a designer and manufacturer of cutting-edge, yet affordable products for the Laptop Era, serving electronic musicians, project and professional studio owners, DJ's, and re-mixers.
The KEYSTATION 88ES is USB-powered but can be powered via an optional external power adapter. The keyboard ships with M-Audio's large, cross-platform complement of USB drivers on a CD-ROM, and a custom version of the popular Reason software studio. The unit is equipped with both USB and MIDI outs, both of which function simultaneously, and, weighing in at only 22 lbs.(which is extremely light for an 88-note keyboard), offers the gigging musician a high degree of portability.
