The Chimera Triolet accepts Mogul base bulbs up to 1000 Watts. The included screw-in adapter may be used for household bulbs. There is an optional 2-pin adapter for halogen bulbs up to 1000 watts.

This is a fixture designed for use with 120 Volts AC current. It has an Edison grounded plug and in-line switch. Its Speed Ring Adapter is designed for rectangular, heat-resistant softboxes. An optional protective glass dome is available, but limits halogen use to 650 watts.

The Video Pro Plus 1 is designed for use with a hot light but may be used with flash as well. With fabric intended for the heat of a continuous light, the Small Video Pro Plus 1 with silver interior is ideal for work in small spaces when medium softening of the light is desired.

The 24x32 inch size is very portable, lightweight, and can be taken on location easily. The "Plus 1" designation of this softbox means the front face of the softbox is removable. Chimera makes different strengths of diffusion material for front face applications. This softbox comes with a one stop diffuser, (hence the "1" designation). Optional 1/2 and 1/4 grid cloths allow for more light transmission and also, less softening of the light.

This is a replacement front diffusion screen for the Chimera Small size Super & Video Pro Plus softbox. It provides maximum softening, and approximately 2 stops light loss. It fastens to the front of the softbox via attached touch fastener strips.

This collapsible fabric grid limits the light spread of a 24 x 32" Chimera softbox to 40°.

Grids are essential accessories for any lighting system. A grid alters the shape and intensity of the light output from your softbox when it is mounted on a light head. Consider a grid as a painter would a brush, or a sculptor would a knife, or chisel.

Fabric grids are hand-stitched, and collapse easily for storage or transport. Use of a fabric grid will result in a narrower spread of light. The spread of light will be determined by the density of the honeycomb mesh, and the distance of the subject from the light.

The Avenger/Manfrotto A630B Midi-Max Kit Stand is a versatile, lightweight alumninum stand. It is quick to set up, and very stable. Its locking T-knobs are large and ergonomic -- making it easy for you to efficiently lock each section. This stand rises to a maximum height of 10.8' (3.27 m).
