Meade's Series 5000 40.0mm Super Wide Angle eyepiece is a 6-element, fully multicoated design with a respectable amount of eye relief for the focal length and apparent field of view. It is great with fast Newtonian reflector telescopes, as well as the popular Schmidt-Cassegrain's and Meade's own Schmidt-Newtonian creations. The Meade Series 5000 40.0mm Super Wide Angle eyepiece is threaded to accept Meade's 2.00" astronomy filters to enhance your viewing experience.
