The Anton Bauer QR-XL12 is the Gold Mount Battery adapter plate for the Canon XL-1 and XL-2 camcorders. For the XL-1 camera the MA-100 or MA-200 shoulder pad adapter is required for mounting the Gold Mount. The XL-2 camcorder has the shoulder-pad built into the camera as standard equipment, therefore no additional accessories are needed.
