This is a nice cart with a thin profile for the weights it can carry. I use this almost every day to carry my tools and laptop along with parts.

Comments about Wesco Maxi Mover Folding Handtruck:
I referred to this one as the Mini Mover vs. the Mega Mover in my Review of the Mega Mover -- my apologies!
This is the unit for you if you have simple needs. Moving-day. Trips to the boat when you need to move the ice chest onboard. Helping a friend relocate. The wheels are solid vs. the Mega Mover's air-filled all-terrain tires. This folds up very compact and is great for older folks, too, who should not lift a lot of weight.
Since I bought the Mega Mover for myself, and this unit as a gift for someone else at Christmas, I had the chance to try them both. This unit is no slouch, so if you do not need to lift the rated weight of the Mega Mover, this unit is perfect. It easily has one of the largest lift plates you'll find anywhere -- making the load more stable, and bulky boxes easier to handle. The included elastic cords come in very handy -- you simply place the knotted end into an integrated notch to secure it after pulling it taught around your cargo.
This is far more lightweight than the Mega Mover. Much easier to lift into the trunk of your car. But very strong, and well-made. Surprisingly, these wheels went down stairs fairly easily -- but not as easily as the tires on the Mega Mover. However, if lifting a heavy object is bothering your back, already, do NOT get the Mega Mover -- use this Maxi Mover, instead.
Also, if you must move heavy objects across gravel or lawns, my choice would be the Mega Mover. This Maxi Mover may work but the wheels will bog down easier.
Finally, on both units, I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the Build Quality! I did not get any inkling of problems with the way these are put together. There was nothing timid about them. The extended handle height is 1" shorter on this unit than the Mega Mover. I found both to be a perfect fit, and I'm 5'-10" tall (if that helps).

This hand truck is a must if your a photographer always hauling lots of equipment to weddings, sporting events, etc. It allows you to load EVERYTHING onto 1 cart and it rolls very easy. The truck folds up in half which makes it compact and easy to put into the trunk of your car or truck. If your thinking about geting it - stop thinking and just purchase it. Your back will be so happy you did.

Bought the hand truck to use for hauling camera gear and chairs at air shows. Well constructed and works very well. I was looking for large tires that would go over grass, gravel and dirt easily and got it.

I'm new to playing gigs (read VERY NEW). I had no idea that the real work of playing was moving the gear. I keep looking of my shoulder for "some guy" to carry things for me. I think my new Maxi Mover is the some guy.
Folds flat feels tough. It's gonna be great!

Comments about Wesco Maxi Mover Folding Handtruck:
Used it to move heavy furniture and boxes and it didn't let me down. I go to the target range alot and lugging super heavy pallettes of ammo from the car to the line was a chore. Especially if long guns are involved. I used to just take a backpack and have the cases in my hands but My hobby quickly outgrew that. Soon the bakpacks of ammo were in excess of 50 lbs, necessitating multitrips to the car. But with this new handtruck everything became streamlined. Unfold the truck, place ALL items on it and roll. Nice big wheels keep the transport smooth and quiet, ad opposed to those off the shelf luggage haulers I see all the time at airports. You never know it's amazing usefulness until you get one!

I needed a hand cart for my cabin where storage space is limited. It is amazing. The wheels handle the uneven terrain and I can move 16" fire wood rounds with out a problem. Love this hand cart!

Comments about Wesco Maxi Mover Folding Handtruck:
Nothing super special about this thing, it just does what it says. I haven't put 250lbs on it yet but I have a tool box that's easily 150lbs and it handles that just fine!
Only thing I could find wrong with it was the tether that came with it is pretty much useless for anything of weight that hangs over the end of it.
Other than that, its great! The folding mechanism works great and it folds really flat. The wheels get up curbs pretty easy too.

I am in construction and I need to transport 125 lbs. roughly of tools in and out from my vehicle to my worksite regularly. I stack two bags on this cart and it is very nice. I am 6' 2" and the length is perfect for a tall guy like myself, not too short like some types of rolling things I have seen (possibly luggage or the rolling bin from[...]). I gave this product 5 stars. [...] I've seen a different brand at[...]but didn't check the price. I've seen other people with other brands as well but I bought the Wesco and it seems to be engineered properly. I can't speak for the other brands but the Wesco has my vote. Enjoy yours!

Excellent hand truck for those with limited or space restrictions. The unique folding design allows me to store this in small spaces when it is not needed. It also provides the required 250 lbs of capacity that are regularly needed in moving equipment cases.
Irreplaceable business instrument that if it becomes miplaced or stolen is immediately missed. Nice to know B&H stocks it.
Don't be fooled or buy the cheap immitations. I have found the unique square tubing design of this model is much stronger than others offered in the market.

I use this folding handtruck to haul my saxophones, fake books, stands and flutes to and from gigs. I use it twice a week through rain, sleet and snow. It is great.
I have removed the shock-chords and replaced them with nylon rope (knowing how to tie a rolling hitch is a good thing!).
And after about 2 years, I actually tracked down a supplier of the nylon bearings, and have replaced them.
The only reason I have not given this a 5 star rating is because it has nylon wheel bearings -- I wish that it had steel instead. But the wheels are perfect -- a nice big diameter really smoothes out the sidewalk bumps for my precious cargo!

I have a very heavy backpack loaded with two Digital SLR cameras and multiple lens. A large tripod, camera bag with multiple accessaries for the cameras and a pair of binoculars all strapped to this handtruck. I can even pull it on a trail if its not too rough.

Comments about Wesco Maxi Mover Folding Handtruck:
I use this hand truck to carry equipment to venues for on-site event photography sales. The hand truck folds and opens with ease, and works well once you have a load balanced on it. The only drawback is that the bottom plate joint seems a little weak. When handling a heavy load, I have someone help me get the load tilted back, because the bottom plate bends when getting a load off the ground.
