I use the bag for my Sony HDR AX 2000 Videocam. Excellent bag, lot's of space for all kind of accessories, very good protection of the equipment and even some space for additional things.

Very good built.

use this for my SONY FX1000. Great case with lots of pockets and durability. It looks odd with all the curves but it as all very functional. Pouches in the bottom rear of the bag were a pleasant surprise for accessories.

Front zippered pocket is a little useless because it is so short of space. I keep my pens and business cards there.

Soft lining inside for lots of shock protection.

Extremely well constructed bag and if configured properly it has a ton of space. Right now I carry and xh-a1, gl2, light, extra batteriess, wide angle adaptors, steadicam merlin, 2 x rode videomics and various other bits 'n pieces including a tripod strapped to the outside. So there is plenty of room.

However, if you are carrying that much kit, what they describe as a laptop compartment becomes kind of useless. The laptop compartment is placed vertically at the back of the bag (the bit which bangs against your hip - or where all the weight is when using a trolley) but it is definitely practical when space is extremely limited or you really don't want to carry on two bags.

And as a few other reviewers have mentioned, it is a bit on the top heavy side so be careful where and how you place it.

All in all a fabulously designed bag.

I have not had time to really get to know the case, but what I have done with it I really enjoy having it. I have two 35mm film cameras with extras. I feel that I will really enjoy traveling with it. I feel that at this time I would purchase another one when this one wears out, if it wears out.

OK, I have to many cameras and lenses . This case is just perfect for travailing. It well hold (4) lenses in the bottom compartment and has two zippered accessory cases that fit in a compartment behind your lenses. The top compartment well hold a 70~200 lens, a strobe as well two D-SLR bodies . The top lid of the case has two more zippered compartments for filters ect. This bag is belt like a tank and the bag handle is set to an angle that makes carrying the bag easy on your arm and shoulder. I also purchased the DTS detachable trolley for the long walks at the airports. This is by far the very best camera bag I have ever owned. KATA this bag wins a 100% AAA approval rating. Use instead of a Pelican case, which is too heavy for travel. It's sturdy and great to take on a plane. The shape is a bit odd and doesn't balance well when the lid is open. Other than that it's good to go.
