The Canon BG-E3 Vertical Grip/Battery Holder is an accessory for their EOS Digital Rebel XT and Digital Rebel XTi cameras which improves the handling of the camera, adds a vertical shutter button, and doubles your potential shooting time. The BG-E3 holds up to 2 NB-2LH batteries, or alternatively can use 6 "AA" batteries. The vertical shutter release makes shooting with the camera in a vertical position just as comfortable as shooting horizontally, and the BG-E3 adds a third strap eyelet to the camera so that you can use the optional E1 Hand Strap.
