The Lastolite Skylite System is strong yet incredibly light, with a tubular frame held together with an internal elastic cord for quick, easy assembly. The frame can also be collapsed within seconds with the fabric still attached. Its range of grip-heads and handles make it easy to position, so that outdoors or in, it is a most versatile panel system.
This medium (42x78") kit includes a silver/white reflector panel, a 1.25 stop diffuser panel, a grip head and storage bag. Add support stands of your choice; they are not included.

Been wanting one of these for a while-- so glad I finally got it. Huge reflector surface for full length portraits, but light enough for mom to hold if I don't have an assistant. The diffuser gives plenty of coverage for portraits, too. If I'm working solo, the included boom clamp slips right on to a c-stand and is very easy to position and rock solid.
Easy and quick to set up, with two caveats:
Out of the box, the lip on one of the ferrules was slightly bent and I had a tough time slipping it in. Easily fixed later with a pair of pliers.
The diffusion sheet and reflector sheet are a very tight fit out of the box. I recommend assembling right away, and spending some time getting one of them wrapped on and let sit overnight to stretch. Then do the same with the other the next night. You do NOT want to try stretching them on at your shoot for the first time!

This seems like a very sturdy, well-designed product. I wish there were instructions with it though, or maybe some helpful hints on folding the sheets. There seems to be no easy way to fold them so that they fit in the case. However, the sheets of material fit very snugly on the frame. Everything, including the bag, seems to be well made. It's not something that you can put together on-location in a short time though. It takes me somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes. Maybe I will get better ;-)

I would have given 5 stars, but the bungee cord inside broke when I first tried to set it up.
It works well as a scrim and i was able to mount it on light stands to create a scrim overhead and shoot in full sun.
Feels sturdy.
I am probably going to get some other sizes in this product.

Used this for a wedding within a couple of days of taking delivery. Despite being unfamiliar with the Lastolite its setup was fast and intuitive. The frame is light weight yet rigid. The included scrim, I believe, is rated at a 1.25 stop light reduction and was well suited to taming mid afternoon sun. I have two gripes: a-the fabric running along the bottom of the scrim developed a small tear after its first mounting and will require repair. b- the fabrics need to be stretched so tightly over the frame in order to be successfully mounted that I question how long they will last.
