Sanus VM400b Flat-panel Wall Mount w/Tilt/Swivel/Arm (Black)
The Sanus VM400b Flat-panel Wall Mount w/Tilt/Swivel/Arm (Black) is a wall mount designed for use with LCD displays up to 40". This mount, constructed of extruded aluminum and heavy-gauge steel, will support displays up to 100 lbs (45.36kg).
Adjusting the position of your display is simplified by a hinged arm that extends from 3-1/2" to 20" from the wall, as well as Sanus' patent-pending "Virtual Axis" tilt adjustment system. Even after installation, the mount can be rotated +/- 6° to ensure your display is perfectly level. This model features a small footprint that can be installed in a single wall stud. All installation hardware is included.

Bought two of the Sanus VM400B to mount flat screens in my new fitness room in the basement. Framed the walls to support the wall mount so a little pre-planning was thought out. The install was extremely easy and the mounting materials supplied was all you need. One helpful tip was using the Sanus web site for the Height Finder to locate exactly where to mark the holes for drilling.

The mount was very easy to install...once I obtained the necessary hardware. The bolts the mount came with were to small for the 42" Panasonic Plasma I mounted it to. Luckily, I had left over parts from another mount for a much larger TV. I was able to use them very successfully. Without them, it would have meant a trip to the hardware store.
My TV is now on the wall and the mount is perfect.

I positioned this mount in the corner of my patio and needed enough length to allow my 32 inch sony bravio to be flush with either wall. It worked perfect. This best thing is that it allows for the tv to be removed from the wall without unscrewing the mount from the wall. Will be very easy to take inside during cold weather.

Needed a way to hang my 37 inch Panasonic Viera flat screen TV on the living room wall. The Sanus VM400 turned out to be just the ticket. To be honest I was dubious when ordering. Pictures don't really convey the built quality of items like this and I have been stung in the past by LCD monitor arms that turned out to be droopy.Not this baby. Feels like it is built out of slabs of solid steel. It holds the TV level even at full extension, although we won't use it like that. I had a particular niche for this product, literally, a set of 38 inch wide built-in shelves. With this mount I can actually push the TV flat against the back of the shelves and hide it during parties, etc. Then swing it out for watching TV and movies.If you take it slow and steady (and measure twice before drilling) installation is pretty easy. Wall bracket takes 3 bolts and then you literally hang the TV/arm on the bracket. I needed to get slightly longer lag bolts due to the 3/8 plywood back of the bookself being in front of sheetrock and stud: $1.25 at the local hardware store.
