The PAG Orbitor was designed knowing that even a lightweight handheld mini-DV camcorder can cause muscle fatigue after hours of shooting. The Orbitor distributes the weight of the camcorder comfortably across the body, providing a stable shooting platform that enables hours of use without fatigue. The telescopic suspension rod provides support and fluid-control of the camera, and slots into a belt-mounted support pad. The suspension rod assists greatly with extreme tilting shots, and absorbs potential camera shake on tracking shots, enabling hands-free resting between shots. The Orbitor is designed to disassemble quickly, into easily transportable parts, that pack away neatly into a compact and lightweight soft-bag, available as an optional extra. The bag contains ample space for accessories, such as batteries and camera lights.

Comments about PAG 2002 Orbiter:
So, I have used the Pag Orbitor for over 3 years now and on over a hundred events and I got to say I loved it. Someone stole it from my car about a month ago so I don't have it anymore, but I bought another system that made me miss the Orbitor so much. Never mind the other comment that says the coupling broke into 2 pieces. That happened to me too on the second use of the Orbitor, but I contacted customer service and they told me that the rubber factory they hired was using recycled plastic to make the couplings and that was making them weak. They sent me a new coupling that was shipping with the new orbitors and they told me this was surely made with fresh rubber and would last much longer. They were right, I used the orbitor for over 500 hundred hours and gave it a hard use and never broke again.
What I loved about the orbitor was the ability to rotate the camera sideways, up and down and pretty much any direction I wanted without having to move my body, you could rise the camera with the help of the suspension rod and tilt the camera down to really see over a crowd... you could let go the handles and the system would stay in it's place, you could go shooting for hours with only minor fatigue on your shoulder.
This is the best system to buy, If I had the money, I would buy it again and again... whoever says something against this system should be someone from the competition trying to blackmail PAG to increase their sales.
BUY THIS IF YOU NEED A SUPPORT SYSTEM, don;t waste your time and money with others

The worst thing that could happen to a videographer just got a name..
PAG ORBITER by PAG
Avoid this system and save your money.
From what to start ?
The weak construction? I bought it and from the first day of using it the support coupling that comes with the orbiter got split in 2 pieces!
I got a terrible pain in my shoulder after 10 minutes of using it and think that I shoot my most of videos with a steadicam for long time of periods which is much heavier and I NEVER got a problem!
