Pakon Plastic Mounts - Standard mounts for general photographic use. The included hand mounter makes mounting easier.
- Can be used in all Pakon mounters except the SA-101
- No-Float mount which incorporates both the wedge-open rim design and "lift pin" holes to open the mount
- All older, non-wedged, automatic mounters require this mount due to the "lift pin" opening mechanism in the mounter

A little tricky to get used to, as they're one piece, and you must use the supplied widget to open one end of the mount to insert the film chip. need to use cotton gloves or finger cots to prevent fingerprints on chip. They can be re-used, 'though getting the old chip out takes a little practice.

Unlike other mounts these can easily be opened and can change out the slides inside them. Others when you go to open them either have to be cut open (cardboard) or break apart when you you try and pry them open (plastic.)

These mounts work in a Kodak 140 tray while thicker ones from Gepe do not; however they are flimsier and I have had them get stuck in the projector.

Hard to use and can easily scratch the film. Should have bought more expensive Pakon mounts. These don't open...you have to slide your precious film between two pieces of plastic with sharp edges. Dumb.

These slide mounts are quality cheap. If you use them in your projector, there is a possibility your projector will get damaged. If you accidently pull one apart, throw it away, it can no longer be used. I should have paid more money and got something better.
