Pelican 1200 Case with Foam (Black)
The Pelican 1200 Case with Foam (Black) is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical-resistant and corrosion-proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra-High Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25" (6.4mm) neoprene o-ring, and easy-open double throw latches that seal perfectly. It includes an automatic pressure equalization valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. It is carried by an oversized handle that enables a person to use two hands for heavy loads.

I've been happily using Pelican cases for years, the 1200 series cases are currently the smallest I own.
In terms of quality Pelican is the standard by which others should be compared. They cost more than most, but they do what they're supposed to do better than anything else on the market.
I probably own about a dozen Pelican cases ranging in size from the largest wheeled versions down to the 1200 series listed here. In many cases I no longer own the equipment for which the cases were originally purchased, but I've always found other uses for them and they've never failed to protect the contents within.

I keep my Evolution G3 100 Series and also my Zoom H4N in this case to protect them while traveling for video shoots. I live on the coast and saltwater and high humidity is huge problem for electronic equipment, but this case keeps keeps my investments protected from dust and water. Be sure and also keep a Silica Gel inside the case to help keep things dry while the case is shut. Highly recommended! Don't take a chance ruining your equipment!

A very strong protective case. If you have a million dollar camera that you want to protect this is a good case. The problem comes when you realize that it is much larger than the contents would be on there own. This means you will be making more trips back to your car to fetch your stuff. It is also very hard to open. I got it for a $450 microphone and think it is a little more effort than it is worth. I recommend that you get it for your most important equipment. The inconveniences mentioned are probable nothing compared to scratching a $1500 lens.

I'm pretty sure this case would have no problems if a truck ran over it.
This model is a bit small, but stores my Marantz PMD661 with batteries/cables/memory cards just fine, which is what I got it for. I have no worries about my recorder getting damaged while it's in this case... only when my clumsy self is using it!
It's a bit bulky, but that's what you get for ridiculous protection.

Great product, but it is smaller than the picture looks, so double check the measurements. This one fits a video camera (handy cam type) and Sony wireless mic system perfectly. Great product, should have bought 2 or even more - now I want to put all of my equipment in them! We live in a very humid area, so I will use it to remove moisture with silica gel packets too.

WIth all the items in this package, the case included is too small to hold all the pieces easily, etc. It would be better to either have two cases in the package or a single, large one. Functionally, it would probably be better to have two cases so that each of the units could go to different locations.
