I was intending to use the product to allow me to monitor audio from my Canon T2i (which has RCA outputs) using standard headphones. This method did not work, DUE TO THE CAMERA. I tested the adapter by using it to plug speakers into my TV and it worked fine for that.

Comments about Hosa Technology GRF341 Stereo Mini to 2 RCA Adapter:
Many cheap camcorders have no headphone jack, making it impossible to monitor audio quality while your are recording. If the camcorder has an "AV" or RCA output you can connect this adapter to the RCA plugs on your AV/RCA cable and plug headphones into the mini plug jack on the adapter. On my Canon DV camcorder this lets me hear audio while recording.

It's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. I needed a quick fix to plug an Xbox's RCA audio out into a set of computer speakers, and this worked like a charm.
