The size of this reflector makes it very handy to take on location. The various covers slip nicely and easily over it. Seems sturdily built. For my use it should last a long Time. I've not had any difficulty folding this away, it's just like any other twist and fold/pop-up device.

I take the 8 IN 1 to all my shoots. I use the clear screen when using my flash or slip on any of the reflector slip ons in seconds to focus more natural light on my subjects.

This is my first reflector purchase of any kind and it was worth the wait and money. I shopped around a bit and decided on this one because:

1) It as all of the possible reflecting tones you need

2) Small enough to fit in my bag or carry by the loop of the pouch, big enough not worry about buying another size

3) THE HANDLE on the reflector- what assistant?

4) Construction was what ultimately convinced me that this was the product for me. When was the last time you saw quality material and stitching and not glue and some cheap synthetic?

I would give the kit 5 stars if they made the bag just a tad bit bigger. Other than that I think this is a great product to get if you're working by yourself frequently. It'll make your photo's that much better by diffusing or reflecting light on the subjects.

Nicely made kit with easily convertable panels. I've used it several times with great results. I purhcased it with the sister single diffuser product and have used them together for great control. Includes a nice and sturdy carrying case. I've used it in both natural and studio loghting sessions. Practice folding it a few times before you get out into the field. LOL

The packaging is compact and fits easily anywhere. the quality of the reflector is great, same for the fiber included (2).
the grip of the reflector makes it easy to hold it in one hand while holding the camera in the second one, in case you were alone...

Note that there is only one reflector although 2 covers are included, so you cannot use them in tandem unless you buy another reflector.

Shooting with natural light or in certain situations with strobes and light boxes, it is really valuable to be able to reflect light and open up darkened areas without the use of another strobe or box. This reflector is a perfect match for these situations, and it is so easy to handle! With the 8 varieties of reflector panel I am never regretting not having the proper color along. And in a pinch you can even hold it yourself without the need for a second set of hands.

I find this to be most indispensable and a true value for money. While I sometimes think Lastolite is a bit pricey, I have never been disappointed with the thoughtfulness and quality of their products. Highly recommended!

A great go-anywhere light-modification kit, containing a two-stop diffuser and multiple reflecting sleeves. Comfortable to hold, and produces a beautiful quality of light, simply and quickly. Useful both in a studio environment and on location, indoors or out. In conjunction with the Lastolite Trigrip mounting bracket available separately, it is possible to set this up and use it effectively without the need for an assistant - you just need a light stand.
This product only appears to be available as a two-stop diffuser; if you want a one-stop diffuser, you will need to purchase that separately.

The best part about this reflector system is that it is all-in-one; bring this along and you will never find that you do not have the right reflector for the job, it is all here. With the way the handle works, it is very easy to hold with one hand. Changing out one reflective surface for another is quick and easy. The tricky part is learning to re-fold it to put back into the case, but after once or twice it is intuitive, and the reflector actually wants to fold up the right way, nearly on its own. The Lastolite website also has a short video on how to do it. All-in-all, I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it.

This is a great product! Very sturdy. Case is well designed and sufficient to hold the entire set. My only complaint is that the size of the 8-in-1 is limited. I would love a set in the 40"-48" size range, but none are available.

We had to return the product because the bag that comes with the reflector is way to small. Lastolite didn't account for photographer who have to work fast in the field. The handle makes it difficult to get the reflector back in the bag as well. If you get this reflector count on making your own bag, unless you have minutes to spare out in the field while you shoot. I do not.

Clean and compact, very well made. Watch closely the first time you unfold it. I had to laugh at myself that it took 5 minutes for me to close it and stuff away.

We got this to replace a 5 in 1 disk that has since lost all ability to keep a flat surface. The TriFlip is so much more convenient and consistent than the disk. You can even hold your modifier in one hand while you shoot with the other for tight portraits. We love it so much we're planning on buying another one.

After reading other reviews I paid special attention to how it unfolded when I pulled it out of the supplied zippered pouch. Because of this I have had no difficulty getting it back into pouch and have already enjoyed using this in many ways. I have used it as a reflector for outdoor portrait work, as a diffuser to fire the flash through for indoor portrait work, and I have used the black slip for a background drop when shooting macros of flowers. This is an extremely versatile and useful kit which folds up nicely so it doesn't take up a lot of space in your bag.
