The iBooster from MXL is a microphone level booster for use with Apple computers. The interface raises any low level input signal, such as a microphone or electric guitar output, to the audio input level required by the computer.
For the podcaster or audio enthusiast, the iBooster is an inexpensive alternative to using expensive microphone preamps and guitar input devices. The housing matches the white color scheme of certain Apple computers, and the unit comes with a guitar plug adaptor and power supply.
