I use this product to carry my Canon t2i with the canon 18-135 IS lens WITH lens hood. This bag also carries my canon 50mm f/1.8 lens with a spare battery, charger, charger cable, SD card, HDMI cable and sync cable. This bag is awesome. The build quality is good, not great. Some of the zippers seem a bit flimsy but I don't think they will break. There is plenty of room for my huge lens with the lens hood. There is also space for my spare 50mm and someday, my shotgun mic. The bad is that it is expensive. But here is the thing. You just spent $1300 on your DSLR what is another [$]? This bag is the most compact, hugest space-holding bag I have found. Quite nice. Love it.

Comments about Tamrac 5533 Adventure Messenger 3 (Gray):
I purchased the Tamrac 5533 Adventure Messenger 3 Bag to use with my Canon Rebel XSi on day trips where I would be doing a lot of walking. I have a Tamrac camera bag for another camera which I've used for 6 years and have been very happy.
The bag is well constructed and has good padding with the exception of the top flap. This has just a light padding which could be a problem since the camera sits with the LCD screen facing the top.
The bag is a very snug fit. It will hold my camera with the 55-200mm zoom (5 1/2 inch) attached. I can also squeeze the 18-55mm lens in along the side and might have room for something else. The illustration of the "Open View" is probably more accurate than the "Cut Away" view. This view gives the impression of a much roomier interior.
So bottom line: well constructed bag, watch the light padding on the top flap, measure all your equipment and compare with interior dimensions. It's a great size for carrying if your equipment will fit.
