The Hasselblad Zeiss PC-Mutar 1.4X Shift Converter provides the photographer with a unique approach to professional perspective control with various focal length lenses on any Hasselblad 200 or 500 series SLR camera.
Note:
When used with the 555ELD or previous EL Series cameras, the optional Release Adapter #46213 and Open L-Connector #50776 are required to connect the double cable release
The PC-Mutar 1.4X not only extends the focal length of the lens 1.4 times, but also allows you to adjust the vertical perspective from 8 - 16mm vertical or horizontal, depending on which lens it is combined with
It can be used with all Hasselblad lenses with a focal length of between 40 and 100mm
Combined with the 40mm, 50mm and 60mm Distagon wide-angle lenses, the full 16mm shift can be applied; With 80mm and 100mm lenses, the shift is limited to 8mm to avoid vignetting
Because the shift facility separates the camera from the lens mechanism, the lens has to be separately cocked and then released simultaneously with the camera using an included double cable release
