The SWA1801z from Mackie is a high-quality active front-firing subwoofer designed for low-end reinforcement in live applications. It has a large 18" driver that can deliver low frequencies as low as 35Hz and very high sound pressure levels. The Baltic birch enclosure is designed for long-lasting durability and contains a high-quality 800W amplifier for terrific audio. An on-board active system controls crossover filters, EQ, and protection circuitry for a high level of performance.
The rear panel of the unit has stereo XLR input, thru, and output connectors, allowing you to connect to virtually any professional sound system. There is a 180° phase control switch, and a level control knob. The cabinet has carrying handles integrated into the sides, and casters are attached to the rear for easy transportation. A pole mount socket allows you to mount a two-way loudspeaker on top of the subwoofer.
