I am pretty sure that you can. I believe you are considering getting this vest now so that when you upgrade the arm and vest you are set. However, I would recommend just working with the Pilot package as it comes. Steadicam designs all the components so they work together perfectly in balance. I think wearing the too-big-for-the-Pilot Flyer Vest would become uncomfortable day after day on set. Better to be comfortable and execute the shot then be uncomfortable while waiting for an upgrade that may not come for awhile. Once you upgrade your rig, sell the old one.
